This is thanks to the holding of the first ordinary session of its Board of Directors, marking a key moment for the evaluation of the 2024 financial year and the consolidation of its achievements. Meeting in Yaounde on July 04, 2025, this strategic body, composed of representatives of the various structures of program 034, addressed crucial topics for the continuous improvement of its functioning.
The policy of maximum membership and involvement of members is confirmed as a major strategic axis of MUNAB under the new management. If the recent inclusion of all the structures of program 034 (DGB, CENADI, DNCM, DP) favored this exercise, the issue of homogeneity remains a central concern to ensure optimal synergy. It is with a view to perfecting this process that these meetings were held under the presidency of Judith Clairence Menguele spouse Bodo, and with the assistance of Flore Goma, Director of the National Management Committee.
The debates highlighted several major points, including the progress of the recommendations resulting from the Extraordinary General Assembly held in February 2025, as well as those formulated during the 28th session of the Board of Directors. The in-depth examination of the Annual Performance Report (RAP) for the 2024 financial year was the subject of a detailed presentation of financial and operational results regarding the following components: Administration and Steering; Information and Communication; Budgetary and Financial Management; Social Security and Entertainment; Infrastructures.
The Director of the National Management Committee reassured the members of the Board of the effective implementation of all the recommendations of the General Assembly. The Statutes and Internal Regulations of MUNAB have been signed and are now enforceable. A file of mutualists tracing all their operations has been drawn up and is regularly updated, and all mutualists are registered in a computer database making it possible to house each member in their home structure. Furthermore, the monitoring and technological watch of the management application (GES-MUNAB) and the website. New communication tools (visuals) have been developed. The restructuring of the WhatsApp group has been done. Focal points have been designated in each structure. Another important aspect which has been encouraged is that of allowances allocated to mutualists according to the nature of the requests (marriages, births, deaths, etc.).
In addition to these aspects, the Board of Directors also welcomed the successful maturation of the project to set up a Center of Excellence (through the fitting out of premises, the identification of trainers and the development of training modules), the inauguration of which is scheduled for the coming days.
The members of the Board unanimously adopted the 2024 Annual Performance Report, presented by the Director of the National Management Committee, thanking the latter for her exemplary management during the period under review. Regarding the presentation of the mid-term Execution Report of the Budgeted Annual Work Plan (PTAB) for the 2025 financial year, welcoming the completion rate (revenue) evaluated at 50.3%, the Board strongly encouraged the National Management Committee to accelerate execution, in particular the collection and revitalization of resources. This last aspect is based on a new resolution of the Board to revise downwards the prices of the Mutual's gadgets. An initiative that aims not only to boost resource collection, but also to encourage massive staff membership. All this testifies to the will of MUNAB to adapt and innovate for the benefit of its members.
The active participation and commitment of all the members of the Board of Directors from all colleges were praised by the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, who once again invited everyone to strengthen collaboration, collective determination and cohesion. She stressed the importance of collaboration and free expression, which will enable the "New-Look Mutual" to consolidate its achievements.
A set of resolutions showing proactive governance and a strong desire to optimize performance, increase accessibility and strengthen the participation base to ensure the sustainability and harmonious development of the National Budget Mutual.
