APRIL 19, 2024 AWARENESS EVENT WITH THE SOUTHERN REGION MUTUALISTS

In accordance with letter No. 0000082/L/MUNAP-DGB/BE/SG dated April 19, 2024, from Mrs. GOMA Flore, Executive Director of the National Mutual of Personnel of the General Directorate of Budget (MUNAP-DGB), an awareness meeting was held in the conference room of the Regional Financial Control office. The session was chaired by the awareness mission team led by Mrs. GOMA Flore, Executive Director of MUNAP-DGB, in the presence of the Regional Controller of the South, all Territorial Controllers of the financial district of the South, and all Personnel of the General Directorate of Budget serving in the Southern Region. The meeting commenced at 11 a.m. with the arrival of the awareness mission team, who, after a brief consultation with the Regional Financial Controller in his office, immediately entered the conference room to proceed with the agenda. The agenda included the following points:

1. Welcome speech from the Regional Financial Controller;
2. Introductory speech from the Executive Director;
3. Presentation of the Statutes and Internal Regulations of MUNAP-DGB;
4. Overview of the current functioning of the Regional Delegation of MUNAP-DGB of the South;
5. Presentation of the MUNAP-DGB website;
6. Renewal of the Board of MUNAP-DGB of the South;
7. Miscellaneous items

As the agenda items were addressed, each point was thoroughly presented and discussed with the Mutualists. Following the renewal of the board of the Regional Delegation of the South, the new team members are as follows:

• Regional Delegate: BILO’O MBA’ALE Nathalie Constance
• Regional Secretary: OBAM ONDOUA
• Regional Treasurer: ABENG MVONDO Guy

After her election, the Regional Delegate took the floor to thank her peers and outline her future plans. She made a significant decision by appointing NGUINI Simon Cyriaque Désiré as a special advisor to the board for enhanced efficiency in future actions of the Regional Delegation of the South.

After discussions on various promotional materials expected from MUNAP-DGB, considering the strong turnout, a family photo was taken to commemorate the occasion. The meeting concluded with a meal provided by the Executive Board of MUNAP-DGB.

In line with the Executive Director's goal of making this visit to the South highly notable, the awareness mission team, accompanied by Mr. FOUDA Joseph Jean Claudel, Regional Financial Controller of the South, and the newly appointed Regional Delegate MUNAP-DGB South, along with all Territorial Financial Controllers who participated in the awareness meeting, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of the Southern Region. The purpose was to inform him about MUNAP-DGB and introduce the newly appointed Delegate of the Southern Region. The Governor greatly appreciated this visit and expressed his hope for future MUNAP-DGB activities in the Southern Region, highlighting the various opportunities the region offers.

At around 5:30 p.m., after a family photo with the Governor on the esplanade of his office, the mission team departed for Yaoundé, marking the end of a productive and fulfilling day.
